English: Meng Yu and Fu Qingshao are a couple in a business marriage with three pre-marriage agreements: remain loyal, fulfill marital duties, and most importantly—never develop feelings for each other. After marriage, Fu Qingshao goes to Europe for work, and for two years, they live like strangers. It isn't until Meng Yu is hospitalized due to eye disease that Fu Qingshao returns to China and encounters her with bandages over her eyes, and their "cooperative" marriage relationship truly begins to function.
Fu Qingshao is rational and restrained, believing marriage is merely an exchange of interests, yet he is gradually drawn to Meng Yu's resilience and warmth through daily interactions. Meng Yu was neglected by her biological family since childhood, with her adoptive parents being her only source of warmth. She originally had no expectations for marriage, but wavers under Fu Qingshao's repeated protection and care.
From meticulous hospital care, umbrella protection in the rain, to standing up for her against her biological family's刁难, Fu Qingshao quietly rewrites the agreement with his actions. Just as their relationship gradually warms up, Meng Yu's ex-boyfriend Shen Jin suddenly returns to China and becomes her boss. Fu Qingshao remains calm on the surface, but jealousy surges when he witnesses Shen Jin showing care for Meng Yu. He awkwardly puts a wedding ring on Meng Yu, establishes a "10 PM curfew," and strongly declares his sovereignty, yet in the study late at night, he sees clearly his own unwillingness—he is no longer satisfied with a marriage based solely on agreement.
